BRISK Racing Warranty Policy
At BRISK Racing, we stand behind the products we sell and are committed to providing our customers with quality products, knowledgeable support, and a straightforward warranty process.
Products purchased directly from BriskRacing.com are covered by the applicable manufacturer's warranty for a period of 12 months (1 year) from the original date of purchase, subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions outlined below.
Our goal is to make the warranty process as simple as possible while ensuring that each claim is properly evaluated.
1. Warranty Coverage
BriskRacing.com honors applicable manufacturer warranties for eligible products purchased directly through BriskRacing.com for a period of 12 months (1 year) from the original date of purchase.
Warranty coverage applies to eligible defects in materials or workmanship under normal and appropriate use.
Warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval. Depending on the product and circumstances, the product may need to be inspected by BRISK Racing, the manufacturer, distributor, or another authorized representative before a warranty determination can be made.
Proof of purchase may be required.
Submitting a warranty claim does not automatically guarantee replacement, refund, credit, or other warranty approval.
2. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty is intended to cover eligible manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage, failure, abnormal wear, or performance issues resulting from improper installation, incorrect application, vehicle or engine conditions, misuse, or other circumstances unrelated to a manufacturing defect.
Unless specifically covered by the applicable manufacturer's warranty, warranty coverage does not extend to damage or failure resulting from:

Incorrect or improper installation

Failure to follow recommended installation procedures

Incorrect spark plug gap or installation torque

Cross-threading, over-tightening, under-tightening, or installation damage

Impact, physical damage, or mishandling

Modification or alteration of the product

Damage caused by another engine or vehicle component

Mechanical engine failure

Normal wear and tear

Improper engine tuning or calibration

Excessive combustion temperatures or pressures

Detonation, pre-ignition, or other abnormal combustion conditions

Excessive fuel, oil, carbon, or other deposits

Spark plug fouling caused by engine, fuel, ignition, or tuning conditions

Improper fuel or fuel contamination

Ignition-system problems

Engine operating conditions outside the intended range of the product

Use inconsistent with manufacturer specifications or recommendations
Signs of improper installation, physical damage, abnormal combustion, excessive heat, contamination, fouling, or operation outside the intended specifications of the product may result in a warranty claim being denied.
3. Spark Plug Warranty Considerations
Spark plugs operate directly within the combustion chamber and are exposed to extreme temperatures, pressures, electrical loads, fuel mixtures, deposits, and other engine-specific conditions.
Because of this, the appearance or failure of a spark plug does not necessarily indicate a manufacturing defect.
Conditions such as an excessively rich or lean air/fuel mixture, detonation, pre-ignition, excessive boost, excessive cylinder pressure, oil consumption, improper ignition timing, incorrect heat range, fuel contamination, improper plug gap, ignition-system problems, or other engine-related conditions can cause spark plug damage or premature wear.
These conditions are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered under warranty unless otherwise provided by the manufacturer or required by applicable law.
BRISK Racing may request photographs, engine specifications, tuning information, installation details, or other information necessary to help determine the cause of a reported spark plug issue.
4. Racing, Competition & High-Performance Applications
Many products available through BriskRacing.com are designed for performance, racing, modified, or competition applications.
High-performance engines may operate under significantly greater temperatures, cylinder pressures, ignition demands, and mechanical stresses than standard production engines.
Factors such as:

Alternative or racing fuels

Ethanol-based fuels

may affect the performance, condition, and service life of spark plugs and other components.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, BriskRacing.com does not guarantee a specific service life, horsepower increase, performance improvement, elapsed-time improvement, fuel-economy improvement, or other particular result from the installation or use of a product.
The customer is responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for their specific engine configuration, modifications, tuning, operating conditions, and intended use.
5. Product Application & Fitment
BRISK Racing makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate application, fitment, cross-reference, and technical information.
Product recommendations may be based on information supplied by manufacturers, vehicle manufacturers, industry databases, cross-reference information, catalog data, and other technical sources.
However, modifications to a vehicle or engine can change the requirements of an application.
This includes, but is not limited to:

For modified applications, the spark plug originally recommended for a stock vehicle may no longer be appropriate.
Customers are responsible for verifying product specifications and compatibility with their specific application before installation.
If you are unsure which BRISK spark plug or other product is appropriate for your application, we strongly recommend contacting BRISK Racing Customer Service before purchasing or installing the product.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BriskRacing.com is not responsible for damages resulting from incorrect application information supplied by a manufacturer or third-party data source.
6. Proper Installation
Correct installation is essential to product performance and reliability.
Products should always be installed according to the applicable product manufacturer's specifications and recommended procedures.
Before installing spark plugs, customers or installers should verify all applicable specifications, including:

Professional installation is recommended whenever the customer is uncertain about proper installation, product compatibility, or engine requirements.
7. Performance Disclaimer
BRISK Racing products are used in a wide variety of stock, modified, high-performance, and competition applications.
Actual performance can vary significantly depending on the vehicle, engine condition, modifications, tuning, fuel, ignition system, installation, environmental conditions, maintenance, driving conditions, and other factors outside the control of BriskRacing.com.
Accordingly, BriskRacing.com does not make any warranty, representation, or guarantee regarding a particular performance result unless expressly stated in writing.
Product descriptions, technical information, recommendations, dyno results, testing information, application information, or other performance-related information should not be interpreted as a guarantee that an individual vehicle or engine will achieve the same results.

For performance or modified applications, BRISK Racing may request additional information regarding engine configuration, boost pressure, compression, tuning, fuel, ignition system, spark plug gap, heat range, or other operating conditions.
Please Do Not Discard the Product
Keep all products involved in a potential warranty claim.
The original product may need to be returned for inspection. Discarding the product before the claim has been evaluated may prevent us or the manufacturer from determining the cause of the issue and may affect warranty eligibility.
Please do not ship a warranty product to BRISK Racing until you have contacted Customer Service and received return instructions.
8. Inspection & Warranty Determination
All warranty claims are subject to evaluation.
Products may be inspected by BRISK Racing, the product manufacturer, distributor, or another authorized representative to determine whether the reported condition resulted from a manufacturing defect or from installation, application, engine operation, tuning, normal wear, or another external condition.
Additional photographs, vehicle information, engine specifications, tuning information, or supporting documentation may be requested during this process.
Once the evaluation is complete, the customer will be notified of the warranty determination.
If a claim is approved, the available remedy will be determined in accordance with the applicable manufacturer's warranty and applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, the remedy may include:

Store credit

Refund, when applicable

Another remedy authorized by the manufacturer
Warranty remedies do not automatically include reimbursement for labor, installation, removal, towing, vehicle rental, diagnostics, engine repair, or other related expenses unless expressly authorized or required by applicable law.
9. Warranty Shipping Costs
Unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer or required by applicable law, shipping charges associated with warranty claims are the responsibility of the customer.
This includes the cost of shipping a product to BriskRacing.com, the manufacturer, distributor, or another designated inspection location.
Original shipping charges and other shipping-related expenses are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Customers should contact BRISK Racing Customer Service before shipping any warranty product.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BriskRacing.com shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the installation, removal, use, misuse, failure, or inability to use products purchased through BriskRacing.com.
Such damages may include, without limitation:
